Our Sales Director, José Ángel Olivero, participated in the panel discussion ‘Vegoils Market Drivers in 2024-2025, Price Developments’ which was part of the agenda of the Global Grain Geneva 2024, held in Geneva, Switzerland last November 12th.

The panel discussed the key factors influencing the global vegetable oil market this season, as well as the outlook for the sunflower crop and the price and trade dynamics in the main regions: the Black Sea, the European Union and Argentina. Changes in regional demand for vegetable oils in the Asian, Middle East and North African markets were also analysed.

José Ángel shared the panel with Gustavo Idigoras, President of CIARA-CEC; Jad Wakileh, Vice President and Business Development Manager of Aqaba Manufacturing and Refining Vegetable Oils Co; and Veysel Kaya, owner of SUNSEEDMAN.

The event was organised by Fastmarkets, the commodity price information agency considered one of the most reliable in the agriculture, forest products, metals and mining, and new generation energy markets.
